TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Event: Mornington Peninsula Italian Festa

Ticket Holder: The person whose name appears on the ticket (or lawful transferee)
By purchasing or obtaining a ticket and entering the event site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions of Entry (“T&Cs”). If you do not accept these T&Cs, you must not enter the event.
1. ENTRY AND TICKETING
1.1. Your ticket is valid only for the date/time and location stated. Only one person may enter per ticket.
1.2. Children under 4 years of age may enter free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Proof of age may be requested.
1.3. The ticket is non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated by us.
1.4. We reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any person if they fail to comply with these T&Cs or cause a disturbance.
1.5. You may be required to present photographic ID and your ticket at entry. You must not share your ticket or attempt to enter more than once on the same ticket.
1.6. Tickets are not transferable for commercial gain or resale (unless we explicitly permit transfers). Resale may render the ticket void.
1.7. Entry may be subject to security screening (bags, personal effects). Prohibited items must be surrendered.
1.8. Pass-outs require a valid stamp for re-entry.
1.9. Seated areas are reserved for those with paid seated tickets unless otherwise stated.
2. EVENT RULES & CONDUCT
2.1. You agree to obey all directions given by event staff, security personnel, and emergency services.
2.2. You must not bring any alcohol, illicit substances, or other prohibited items into the event site.
2.3. This is a smoke-free and alcohol-free event for general admission areas.
2.4. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the event site.
2.5. Alcohol may only be purchased and tasted within the designated licensed “red-line” zones, including the VIP area and authorised tasting zones.
2.6. Carrying or consuming alcohol outside these licensed zones is strictly prohibited.
2.7. You may consume non-alcoholic beverages anywhere within the event grounds, provided they are in suitable containers.
2.8. You must comply with all signage and public health directions (including smoking/vaping rules, food hygiene, and crowd safety).
2.9. You must behave respectfully and safely — no violence, abusive language, discrimination, harassment or antisocial behaviour. We may eject you without refund if you breach this rule.
2.10. Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
3. HEALTH, SAFETY & RISK
3.1. The event site includes stages, lighting, sound, and temporary structures. You enter at your own risk.
3.2. You must follow all emergency and evacuation procedures. If the event is cancelled or terminated early for safety reasons, we are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs.
3.3. Animals (except registered assistance animals) are not permitted.
3.4. You must not bring weapons, fireworks, or other dangerous or banned items.
3.5. You consent to being filmed or photographed; such images may be used for promotional, social media, or media purposes unless you advise us otherwise in writing before the event.
4. ALCOHOL & DRUGS
4.1. This is an alcohol-free event for general admission.
4.2. Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed within the VIP area and authorised vendor tasting zones (“red-line” areas).
4.3. You must not roam or carry alcohol outside these licensed areas.
4.4. Bringing alcohol into the event or supplying alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited.
4.5. The possession, use, or sale of illicit drugs or substances is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the site and referral to authorities.
5. TICKET PRICE, CHANGES & CANCELLATION
5.1. We may change the event time, venue, date, or program (subject to applicable laws) and will notify ticket holders where practicable.
5.2. If the event is cancelled by us, you may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price (less any applicable fees).
5.3. If the event is postponed or interrupted due to weather, fire, emergency, or government direction, we will attempt to reschedule, but refunds are not guaranteed.
5.4. We may refuse admission or remove you from the site if you breach these T&Cs or are deemed a safety risk. No refund will be given in such cases.
6. LIABILITY, INDEMNITY & INSURANCE
6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our contractors, agents, volunteers, and officers) exclude all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or cost suffered by you or your property arising from the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
6.2. You indemnify us against any loss or damage caused by your breach of these T&Cs or your misconduct.
6.3. Nothing in these T&Cs excludes any guarantees or rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
6.4. We recommend that attendees hold appropriate personal or event insurance.
7. GOVERNING LAW & CONSUMER RIGHTS
7.1. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
7.2. To the extent of any conflict between these T&Cs and mandatory consumer protections under Australian law, those statutory rights prevail.
7.3. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including travel or accommodation expenses.
8. PRIVACY
8.1. We collect personal information from you to manage the event, process ticketing, communicate updates, and for marketing (where consented).
8.2. You agree to receive event-related communications. You may opt out of promotional material at any time.
9. MEDIA & RECORDING
9.1. By entering the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and you grant the organiser the right to use such material for marketing, media, and social media purposes.
9.2. You must not record audio or video for commercial use without our written permission.
10. EJECTION & REFUNDS
10.1. We reserve the right to refuse admission or eject any person who:
fails to comply with these T&Cs;
acts in a way that endangers safety or causes nuisance;
possesses prohibited items; or engages in illegal or antisocial behaviour.
10.2. Ejected persons forfeit all rights of entry and are not entitled to a refund.
11. MISCELLANEOUS
11.1. We may amend these T&Cs from time to time; the version in effect at the time of ticket purchase applies.
11.2. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remainder will continue in effect.
11.3. No waiver of a right under these T&Cs is effective unless in writing.
11.4. These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding entry and attendance at the event.
