Accessibility at the Mornington Peninsula Italian Festa
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable at the Mornington Peninsula Italian Festa. Here’s what we’ve put in place to make the day more accessible for all visitors:
Changing Places Facility
For attendees with special needs, the nearest Changing Places restroom is located at:
Tounnin Wominjeka Youth Hub, 80 Besgrove Street, Rosebud VIC 3939.
Open 24/7 with a Master Lock Access Key
Approximately a 5-minute drive from the Village Green
Keys will be available to borrow from the Information Marquee at the Festa
(A map and directions will be available at the Information Marquee.)
Communication Aids
We’ll have communication boards available at the Information Marquee. These use universal symbols to help anyone who may find it difficult to speak, simply point to what you need (e.g. toilets, food, drink).
Quiet Space
If you or someone in your group needs a break from the crowds, we have set up a Quiet Space at the festival. Details and directions are available at the Information Marquee.
